      All researchers should book telephonically in advance for the date and time research will be done. Cost for the use of the reading room amounts to a minimum of R10.00 per day. Prior permission for use should be obtained from the Director: Administration and Finance or the Chairman of the Committee for the Archives in respect of restricted and confidential material.

      Baptismal, members, and marriage registers for the period 1814-1945 are available on film only. No photocopies are available. The reader cannot produce hard copies.
