• Access conditions:

  Proof of bona fide research. Access to unrestricted documents (published) in the Archives shall be available to any person who abides by the rules and regulations of the Archives. Access to unpublished documents in the Archives may be restricted by the head of the office in which the documents originated, by the donor of personal papers or the archivist.

• Access restrictions:

  Restricted documents shall remain closed for a period of thirty years from the date of their creation (the date on which each, document was first produced) unless the head of the office of origin or the donor has designated a shorter or longer period. <br> only the head of the originating office or the appropriate University officer, now responsible for the function performed by the office of origin, may grant permission for access to restricted documents. Such permission shall be in writing.
