      The collection of the Archives Nationales du Burundi is composed of archival files divided into 23 different groups, more than 50 periodicals, and works published during the Belgian colonial period, 1912-1962. Besides the paper documents, the collection consists of 55 microfilms of Burundi Archives preserved in Belgium, 148 jacquettes of documents preserved at the Maison Généralice des Pères Blancs in Rome, and 46 microfiches BIEF. In addition, we have photographs, maps, blue prints and recently published books.
